If you are not currently working in the industry you should consider taking the Introduction to Travel & Tourism course as well to give you the background to the travel industry that will be helpful.
PC and keyboard skills are however, considered necessary for travel industry employment. To improve keyboard skills why not take a Typequick course?

What about the course assessment, how is that structured?
Formative assessments take place throughout the course in the form of Online Quizes. It is a good idea to try to achieve 100% in each of these to demonstrate you have understood the content. The final assessment is in 2 parts: Part A is a knowledge based Question and Answer assessment completed online. Part B: A research project in which you must demonstrate a broad understanding of the Tourism Industry, the skills and knowledge required to develop and update knowledge of the tourism industry including the role of the different sectors and the key legal and ethical issues of the industry
